100 Days of Jules, Day 16: Julianne Was Up For The Role in Gone Girl

This anecdote haunts me.

Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.

I know what you’re thinking. That kind of makes sense. Julianne Hough would have been a good mistress, the character that Emily Ratajkowski ended up playing.

But that’s not the news I’m here to deliver.

Julianne Hough auditioned and was reportedly up for the role of the wife/ex-wife/crazy woman.

If you have ever seen Gone Girl, then you know it’s a great movie and a movie I’m just not positive Julianne Hough could have pulled it off. I mean Rosamund Pike so beautifully played a normal person turned crazy woman who you feared. (I also haven’t seen this movie in awhile, but I think I’m remembering it correctly. We were supposed to fear her, right?) Julianne Hough plays characters who are innocent but want to be bad — not women who fake their own murder.
