Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.
In 2017, Julianne Hough appeared on The Harry Connick, Jr. Show to promote God-knows-what. Harry plays a game with Julianne where she has to guess the same answers to questions as her brother Derek answered. (Derek isn’t there, but they recorded his answers previously.)
The questions are dumb because they asked Derek questions about Julianne and then Julianne has to guess what Derek would answer, not just answer truthfully. These games are always so dumb. Anyway, one of the questions is, “What is your favorite app?”
“Oh, my gosh, I know what Derek’s gonna say. He’s gonna say Buffalo Wild Wings or buffalo wings,” she says with some hesitation in her voice.
“There’s an app for buffalo wings?”
“Well, it’s a long story but basically when we asked him what his favorite app was, instead of saying Instagram, even though I said Instagram, he goes, ‘I like Buffalo Wild Wings.’ So I think he’s going to say that.”
They play the video with Derek’s response and sure enough he says “buffalo wings.”
“If there’s not an app before today, there should be one, right,” Harry says.
Clearly, Derek was making a joke that his favorite APPetizer was buffalo wings after someone asked him about his favorite APPlication. I think Derek knows it’s silly, but I’m not sure Julianne got it and Harry FOR SURE didn’t. I’ve never witnessed such awkward television in my life.
