100 Days of Jules, Day 33: Julianne Is A Republican?

Let’s investigate.

Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.

I am not confident in that statement. At all. However, I am confident that her father, Bruce Hough, a Utah politician and GOP chair, voted for Mitt Romney during the 2012 election and possibly voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 election.

But I am not sure if Julianne did, though. In a 2012 Wetpaint article, the author writes, “Ryan Seacrest’s movie star girlfriend talked to The Insider about the GOP race. ‘I’m definitely following it,’ Julianne said. ‘My father is a huge supporter. I mean he is tweeting every second of every comment.'”

This doesn’t exactly confirm she was going to vote for Mitt Romney, it just confirms that she was following the race. If you search “julianne hough mitt romney” on Twitter, though, people are confident she was a supporter of him. Even a Wikipedia page cites this Wetpaint article as confirmation Julianne supported Mitt Romney.

On Nov. 8, 2016, Julianne posted on Instagram that that year was the first time she waited until Election Day to vote. But she didn’t announce who she voted for.

“I just had the most humane experience,” she writes on the Instagram caption. “Today was the first time I waited until Election Day to vote and be there in person with my fellow citizens! Every single person I came in contact with was filled with such honor and pride. We exchanged smiles and projected an unspoken respect and love for one another. My heart is so full of unconditional love today for not only my closest friends and family, but for the entire population around the world! We can make a difference in how our voices are heard, how we treat each other, what we give to the world and what we take! The choice is ours to make… how awesome is that?!”

If Bruce Hough has a Google alert on his name and sees this, hi, pls comment if your daughter is a republican, thank u.
