Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.
Respect where respect is due. Our girl Julianne Hough is a hustler. Not only does she sing and dance and act and make up workout movements, she also dabbles in the influencer world.
In late 2017, she and then-husband Brooks Laich went to an event for some new Volkswagen cars. The two of them spoke about the cars for roughly six to eight minutes. Neither of them own the cars they spoke about. They had just seen the cars and sat in them for a little bit. Then they posed on the red carpet so potential Volkswagen buyers would know Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich think the cars are cool. Julianne rattled off sentences someone at Volkswagen’s marketing team told her to, like: “So we’re at the Volkswagen Holiday Drive-In event, which is so much fun. One, it’s just, like, an excuse for us to have a date night (laughs). I’m super excited to be here sort of at the launch of, you know, shifting to these three, um, you know, electric, uh, Volkswagen concept vehicles, which is so cool and, um, just, yeah, it makes me feel like I’m a part of something bigger than, um, just myself, you know. This is a whole shift and a movement, um, going forward that I’m proud to be a part of and help support.”
