Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.
While promoting Safe Haven, Julianne Hough and co-star Josh Duhamel did an interview with Cosmopolitan UK. The interviewer asked about the passionate kissing scene and what it was like to film it.
“Oh, it was … oof,” Josh says. “I don’t remember A lot of tequila. No. It’s one of those scenes that you know are coming and it only works if everything leading up to that was connected and real and committed to and what we really focused on were all those little moments in any relationship — the playfulness, the flirting, the avoidance, whatever it is that comes with a budding relationship. If those moments work, then moments like that makeout scene behind the tree work.”
Immediately, Julianne tells him his answer isn’t right.
“This is Cosmopolitan,” she says. “All they wanna know is how hot and steamy and sexy the kiss was and how hard you grabbed my leg — no, I’m just kidding.”
Are you kidding, though????
“I think it was my idea though to wrap my legs around you, right,” she says again, knowing the answer to her own question.
Josh explains that yes, it was Julianne’s idea and also they were looking for any excuse to get her up to the same height as him because Julianne is short and he is tall.
I’m sure Julianne’s then-boyfriend Ryan Seacrest was thrilled with that piece of trivia.
