Addison Rae Easterling was born October 2000, making her 20 years old. She was born in Louisiana and has been a competitive dancer since she was 6 years old. She joined TikTok in 2019, where she started uploading dance videos and now she has more than 61 million followers, making her the second-most followed person on the app. She is part of The Hype House, a collab house in Los Angeles that houses other young creators. Addison Rae has never physically lived in the house, but she is part of the group.
Before moving to LA, Addison Rae attended Louisiana State University, where she studied sports broadcasting. After amassing massive followers on TikTok, she “resigned” from school, something she jokes about in a video with YouTuber James Charles.
Addison Rae has taken her TikTok fame and transitioned it to a YouTube channel, brand sponsorships, a podcast, a makeup line, and even a role in an upcoming movie, a remake of She’s All That. However, according to me, the person writing this blog, Addison Rae is clearly the bigger star and the one more equipped for fame. Charli is shy and timid and Addison Rae is outgoing, bubbly, and eager to meet fans and shake her ass anywhere and everywhere. To me, Addison Rae is Kim Kardashian meets Jessica Simpson. Insider has a great timeline of their friendship. There was a rumor that Kourtney and Addison Rae’s friendship was just to equip Addison Rae to become the next big reality star, however, we may never know for sure. Addison Rae’s family has launched its own reality TV-like YouTube channel and the Kardashians recently ended their contract with E! Her birth father is Monty Lopez, the man married to her mother. In a YouTube video, Addison Rae explained that when her parents had her, they weren’t married, so her mom, Sheri Easterling, gave Addison Rae her last name. Sheri and Monty got married when Addison Rae was 2 and then they had two sons, whose last name is Lopez. Sheri still doesn’t use the last name Lopez.
