The blog (this blog, the one you’re reading) that brought you 100 Days of Julianne Hough and 50 Days of Addison Rae now brings you 50 Days of Taylor Swift. 1, 2, 3… Let’s go, bitch! Photo by Dwight McCann
Roughly 13 years ago, the Earth shifted on its axis when Kanye West stormed the stage at the VMAs while Taylor Swift was accepting the VMA for Best Female Video.

You know what happens next, pls don’t make me write it out, it’s Day 2 and I’m already tired.
The backlash was swift (HAHA!). Dozens of fellow musicians and celebrities quickly came to Taylor’s defense. Let’s take a look at some of the responses:
Tim McGraw said Kanye needed an “ass whoopin’.”
Pink tweeted: “Kanye west is the biggest piece of shit on earth. Quote me” and allegedly “got in his face” during a commercial break after it happened.
John Rich of Big and Rich said, “The night I saw Kanye pull the mic out of her hand, I felt like somebody had just disrespected my little sister. I went it, You know what, if I had been in that room, I would have whooped his ass. I would have tried.“
President Barack Obama called Kanye a “jackass.”
Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood poked fun at it while hosting the CMAs, singing, “Mamas don’t let your babies grow up to Kanye,” they sang. “Let them pick guitars and drive them old trucks, ’cause cowboys have manners, they don’t interrupt.”Mamas don’t let your babies grow up to Kanye. Let them pick guitars and drive them old trucks, ’cause cowboys have manners, they don’t interrupt.”
Taylor Lautner karate-kicked a mannequin of Kanye.
Donald Trump said to boycott Kanye.
Kelly Clarkson dedicated a blog post to Kanye, asking if he was hugged as a child.
Katy Perry tweeted, “FUCK U KANYE. IT’S LIKE U STEPPED 0N A KITTEN.”
And that’s just some of them! Wow! 2009 was crazy.
