100 Days of Jules, Day 90: This Woman Has No Idea Who Julianne Is

“Who is Jules?” Great question.

Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.

Tessy Antony de Nassau, a woman who was formerly Princess Tessy of Luxembourg, but is now a Luxembourgian businesswoman and non-profit executive, according to Google, interviewed Julianne Hough a few months ago about Kinrgy. But more importantly, she asked Julianne basic questions, like, “Who is Jules?” and “How did you get into dance?” And “Going on your Instagram, I was just like, wow, she … so many followers and she’s just so energetic. And so I Googled you and I saw all of these amazing dance choreographies you were doing with your brother as well.”

Julianne, who has been famous for 14 years, explained to this woman that she has been dancing since she was 10 years old and even won Dancing With The Stars a few times “as a professional dancer.”

I also love seeing all the “amazing dance choreographies.”

100 Days of Jules, Day 89: Don’t Call Her Julianna Hoe!

How to pronounce Hough.

Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.

Here is a fun story: Not only did I miss Julianne Hough’s birthday two days ago, but in yesterday’s 100 Days of Jules, I called her Julianna.

Her name is Julianne and she doesn’t like it when you call her Julianna. She made that clear on a radio show when she said her then-boyfriend Ryan Seacrest accidentally called her Julianna once and she responded, “Do I look ethic?”

Also, while on tour singing country music, Julianne’s then-boyfriend Chuck Wicks surprised her on stage with a cake and to sing her Happy Birthday. During the song, it sounds like he sings, “Happy birthday, Julianna.” Julianne’s mouth drops and when she takes the mic, she tells the crowd, “He totally said Julianna.”

People don’t just get her first name wrong, they also get her last name wrong. It’s pronounced “Huff,” but during a 2008 interview, Julianne said she gets, Hue, How, Hug, Hoe.

“Hoe,” she says. “Yeah, I don’t like that one too much.”

I am sorry, Miss Julianna Hoe!!!!

100 Days of Jules, Day 88: I Missed Julianne’s Birthday

Literally, fire me.

Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.

Welp.

I’ve been blogging about Julianna Alexandra Hough for 87 days in a row and yesterday, I missed her birthday.

The crazy part is just the other day I thought that I should definitely look up her birthday to make sure I didn’t miss it. But for whatever reason, I stopped myself and assumed her birthday was in September and I didn’t need to worry about it (in regards to 100 Days of Jules).

Then I woke up yesterday morning and watched Julianne’s IG stories where she mentioned it was her birthday. Not only that, but her dog Koda was in bed with her, which is significant because ever since Julianne and her estranged husband, Brooks Laich, announced their separation, Koda has spent that majority of his time with Brooks. I guess Brooks let Julianne have the dog for one day as a birthday present?

Thankfully, it doesn’t seem like I missed too much. She turned 32 this year. Last year for her 31st birthday, she hiked up Mount Kilimanjaro with Brooks and his family. For her 30th birthday, she traveled to Machu Picchu, Peru with Brooks and her friends. And for her 32nd birthday, she painted rocks at home! I’m not kidding!

32 and divorced sounds sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kristy, Julianne’s assistant, wished her a happy birthday on IG, as well Julianne’s family members. I’m glad they didn’t forget.

100 Days of Jules, Day 87: Why Is Julianne Not on Broadway?

And don’t say because it’s closed.

Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.

Riddle me this: Julianne Hough is a singer, dancer, and actor, yet she is not on Broadway. She starred in Grease: Live as Sandy Young, but that was a one-time television performance. She also starred in the Broadway musical-turned movie Rock of Ages, but that was a film. Julianne Hough should be on Broadway in New York.

She did perform on Broadway technically, when she and her brother, Derek Hough, took their MOVE Live on Tour to New York in the Beacon Theatre on Broadway. It was on Broadway, but it was not a Broadway production.

I mean, I guess if I was Julianne, I would also tell people I performed on Broadway, but she needs to be in a musical. She needs to be Eliza Hamilton, don’t @ me.

100 Days of Jules, Day 86: "I’m a big believer in baths."

Same. But showers.

Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.

While on Jay Shetty’s podcast, Julianne Hough spoke about masculine and feminine energies, her company Kinrgy, how she feels satisfied, and her love for baths.

“I’m a big believer in baths because I am a water sign, so I love water,” she says. “That’s where, like, I do a lot of my, like, meditations and I just feel like my creativity spawns from that.”

I, too, love bath time, but mine is in the form of a shower. Sometimes I take two showers a day. Jules and I are just alike.

100 Days of Jules, Day 85: This Is The Most Chaotic Interview

God bless Kathlie Lee Gifford.

Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.

Back in 2009, Julianne Hough was on the TODAY show with Kathie Lee to basically promote her music career.

After they discuss that, Kathie Lee pulls out Julianne’s SHAPE magazine cover.

“I can just definitely say this right now,” Julianne says, “I never would have been able to put on that bikini without my Venus Embrace. I just have to say that right now. Can you feel my legs for a second?”

After awkwardly plugging Venus Embrace (obviously the reason she was on the show in the first place), Julianne gets up from her seat to have Kathie Lee feel her legs. Kathie Lee is impressed but moves the conversation to Julianne remaking Footloose and then to Julianne’s love life.

Julianne explains that her boyfriend (Chuck Wicks) is good and because she partnered with Venus Embrace, they did a Goddess Guide. It’s unclear what exactly the Goddess Guide is, but Julianne explains it has “some really fun tips on dating.”

She put some things “on Chuck and I in there,” as well as health, beauty, and other “stuff.”

Kathie Lee ends the interview with this golden nugget: “Well I wish we could stay longer and talk about virginity because that’s an important subject, but apparently, we’re out of time.”

OK!!!!!

100 Days of Jules, Day 84: Julianne Is A "Terrible Social Dancer"

She’s trying to be relatable.

Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.

Obviously, Julianne Hough is one of the best dancers in the world. She’s won Dancing With The Stars twice and she was amazing in Footloose and Grease Live and other things I haven’t seen, but I’m sure she danced in them and I’m sure she was great (!!!!).

But Julianne claims that she’s only a good dancer when it’s a choreographed routine.

In 2009, on her 21st birthday, Julianne was in Atlantic City promoting Borgata Events (?) and while walking the red carpet, she told an interviewer that she’s a “terrible social dancer.”

“You’ll see me out there and I’ll be like ‘All right ….,'” she says, while trying to awkwardly dance. “So I don’t know, hopefully some kind of like salsa/cha-cha will come up.”

Six years later, Julianne said similar things to Fusion.

“If I go out, I go out with my girls and we do dance, but it’s not the kind of like dance where you’re like she-sha-shee-ha,” she says, while motioning her arms in a dance-like fashion. “You know, it’s not like that. It’s like, it’s literally like dorky dance.”

Julianne dorky-dances!!! She’s just like us!

100 Days of Jules, Day 83: Julianne Is Not Doing Well; Welcome

Are any of us “doing well?”

Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.

E! News is reporting that Julianne Hough is not doing well and is in a “funk,” and that’s why she and her estranged husband Brooks Laich have not officially filed for divorce.

Yes, welcome to a global pandemic, Julianne. None of us are doing well.

“Julianne has had a hard time recently and is in a funk. The lockdown has brought up all sorts of stuff for her,” the source told E! News exclusively. “Brooks is very much ready to move on and to be officially divorced. His friends and family have rallied around him and he is ready for the next chapter.”

This isn’t shocking considering Brooks has been hanging out with Julianne’s friends and family. Just today, Julianne’s assistant (or former assistant, I’m not sure) posted a photo of herself surfing and the photo credit was Brooks.

Brooks has been hanging out with the assistant (she recently commented that the past two weeks with him and others have been “greatest two weeks of life”). Brooks also has been with Julianne’s brother, Derek Hough, quite a bit.

Even though Julianne is trying to put on a good front by commenting and liking Brooks’ Instagram photos, it seems her friends (and family?!) have chosen a side and that side is not hers.

100 Days of Jules, Day 82: Julianne Got Her Start On A Game Show With William Shatner

It was soon canceled.

Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.

There was a game show called Show Me The Money that lasted for one month in 2006. William Shatner hosted it and there were dancers who “showed you the money.” I’m pretty sure. I’m actually not certain. But before Julianne Hough was a professional dancer on Dancing With The Stars, she was an 18-year-old dancer on this game show.

Here is a clip.

100 Days of Jules, Day 81: "I’m a mind person."

You really can’t make this shit up.

Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.

Julianne Hough believes she is a quick thinker.

While discussing her “transformation” and her Kinrgy movement, Julianne told Wisdom 2.0‘s host that she is a “mind person.”

“We were talking earlier about I’m a mind person,” she says, “and I’m very quick to make decisions and I’m a fast thinker. But that’s just another form of suppression.”

This is not the first time she’s made such a claim. While on Covino and Rich’s radio show, Julianne explained how she couldn’t keep up with then-boyfriend Ryan Seacrest when she first met him.

“You know what’s weird? I remember when I used to go on his radio show before we started dating; I couldn’t keep up with him, like, I couldn’t …. I … there was nothing that I could say back. It was weird and I’d just kept ranting and I didn’t make sense and now I bust his balls before he can ever get everything out.”

I have no words.
