50 Days of Addison Rae, Day 40: A Rumor Investigated

Was she blacklisted from all sororities at LSU?

Welcome to 50 Days of Addison Rae, a Just PMSing original blog series where we explore all things Addison Rae, TikToker, dancer, YouTuber, Kardashian friend.

There is a rumor that Addison Rae was blacklisted from all LSU sororities during rush.

Addison Rae entered LSU in fall 2019 and according to the rumor, she was already somewhat well-known on TikTok. But in the fall of 2019, TikTok wasn’t a thing and it certainly wasn’t cool — TikTok didn’t really become mainstream until the COVID-19 shutdown in the spring of 2020.

But to say sororities would not want Addison Rae seems too far. Sororities really like connections and even if TikTok wasn’t top-tier, it was something. Plus, from a sorority-standpoint, you would want the publicity Addison Rae could give your organization. (Pageant girls and social media influencers typically always do well during rush.)

To be blacklisted means every single sorority says no to you. I can only think of one girl who was blacklisted when I went through rush in fall 2009. She was blacklisted because an unflattering photo of herself went somewhat viral. Other reasons you might get blacklisted: You’re a literal porn star or just have a really, really bad reputation. (Even the “low level” sororities will still take the girls other sororities pass on.)

I reached out to five former sorority girls and only two thought the blacklisting was possible. One said that maybe if Addison Rae’s TikToks were slutty, she might have been blacklisted (they weren’t) and the other said it’s possible sorority girls were jealous of her (this seems unlikely IMO because if sororities are cutting girls because they’re jealous of them, there would be no sororities).

On Addison Rae’s podcast with her mother, she opened up about not making LSU’s dance team. (She even skipped prom to try out.) If Addison Rae was also blacklisted during rush because of TikTok, I feel like she would have opened up about that too.

50 Days of Addison Rae, Day 39: Flowers and Sunsets

If you really know her, then you know this.

Welcome to 50 Days of Addison Rae, a Just PMSing original blog series where we explore all things Addison Rae, TikToker, dancer, YouTuber, Kardashian friend.

Before going to dinner (I think), paparazzi stopped Addison Rae to ask her about her role in He’s All That and other stuff.

While she answered questions, she held some flowers in her hand. A cameraman asked who they were from.

“Actually it was just someone random but they were really nice and if you know me, you know I love flowers and sunsets,” she said. “So it was really sweet.”

That’s all I have to report.

50 Days of Addison Rae, Day 38: Addison Rae Also Did A TikTok To Fleetwood Mac, OK?

Before the cranberry juice guy.

Welcome to 50 Days of Addison Rae, a Just PMSing original blog series where we explore all things Addison Rae, TikToker, dancer, YouTuber, Kardashian friend.

While doing press at the Billboard Music Awards, Addison Rae spoke about the influence TikTok has one mainstream culture. She informed the interviewer that even though “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac was just now starting to blow up because of a TikTok with guy riding a skateboard while drinking cranberry juice, she had actually filmed a TikTok to the same song “months ago.”

“I actually, like, did a TikTok to ‘Dreams,’ like, months ago,” Addison Rae said. “And now it’s all of a sudden blowing up. It’s, like, so cool to see because that’s been one of my favorite songs for probably five years now, so I think there’s just so much that people don’t know that are in the younger generation — even myself. Music I just didn’t really listen to or wasn’t into and now TikTok can kind of bring that back and bring a new appreciation for it.”

In Addison Rae’s TikTok to “Dreams,” she juggling oranges, not drinking cranberry juice.

50 Days of Addison Rae, Day 37: Addison Rae is Deleting TikToks

If you have any information about this, please contact me ASAP.

Welcome to 50 Days of Addison Rae, a Just PMSing original blog series where we explore all things Addison Rae, TikToker, dancer, YouTuber, Kardashian friend.

I was going to make Day 37 dedicated to a TikTok Addison Rae posted a few days ago. The TikTok is one of those “put a finger down if” challenges, but at the end of this one, if you put fingers down, it meant that you were actually a golden retriever. It was supposed to be ha-ha, but that’s not why I was going to write about it. I was going to write about it because Addison Rae didn’t put a finger down when it said “put a finger down if you like attention.” I thought it was funny because she’s literally a social media star, of course she likes attention.

But now I have something more serious to write about. Not only did she delete that TikTok, she deleted several others. And I can’t find anyone on Twitter or YouTube talking about this. I can’t even find the original TikToks. I’m almost convinced that just my TikTok account can’t see it, but I know that can’t be right.

She also deleted a TikTok with her boyfriend Bryce Hall with the sound “Oh no, I hope I don’t fall.” She deleted a dancing TikTok too.

I don’t understand. Does anyone have any information regarding this? Thank you.

50 Days of Addison Rae, Day 36: This is A Marketing Nightmare

SOS

Welcome to 50 Days of Addison Rae, a Just PMSing original blog series where we explore all things Addison Rae, TikToker, dancer, YouTuber, Kardashian friend.

Something that keeps me up at night is Addison Rae’s social media handles.

Her TikTok is @addisonre.

Her Twitter is @whoisaddison.

Her Instagram is @addisonraee.

Her Facebook is @addisonraes (No checkmark, so I’m not positive it’s legit).

Her Snapchat is @addison_e.

They are all different. When she is trying to promote herself, she can’t simply say follow me at blank blank on all social media channels. (I can, however, because I’m @paginaskinner on literally everything.) Please, if you’re her branding manager and reading this, do something about this. It’s driving me crazy.

50 Days of Addison Rae, Day 35: The Addison Rae Curse

The New York Jets are 0-14.

Welcome to 50 Days of Addison Rae, a Just PMSing original blog series where we explore all things Addison Rae, TikToker, dancer, YouTuber, Kardashian friend.

In January, the New York Jets’ TikTok account posted a TikTok that made it look like Addison Rae had a football flying out of her ass.

The video didn’t stay up for long; it was deleted about 30 minutes after it was posted. But it’s the internet, and everything lives on forever. Publications picked up the story, including Insider, which referred to Addison Rae as simply a teenager, instead of Addison Rae (this was before Addison Rae became well-known).

Since posting that curse TikTok, the New York Jets have not won a single game. They are 0-14 and some Twitter users are blaming Addison Rae.

Is Addison Rae to blame for the New York Jets’ losing record?

I think so. And that’s why I love her.

50 Days of Addison Rae, Day 34: The Renegade Controversy

Addison Rae says it was a “miscommunication.”

Welcome to 50 Days of Addison Rae, a Just PMSing original blog series where we explore all things Addison Rae, TikToker, dancer, YouTuber, Kardashian friend.

Charli D’Amelio and Addison Rae are the two most followed creators on TikTok and they are both responsible for popularizing the Renegade dance. However, when they first started posting the Renegade dance on TikTok, they didn’t credit its creator, 14-year-old Black creator Jalaiah Harmon.

It’s not shocking that the two most followed creators on TikTok are white. White supremacy — and a perception that white people are more beautiful and talented — is rampant in modern culture. Today, when Charli and Addison Rae post dances, they typically credit the creator of the dance and most of the time, the creator is Black. Black people originate most trends.

In early February, Rebecca Jennings wrote about Jalaiah for Vox and Taylor Lorenz wrote a profile on Jalaiah for The New York Times, both attributing to Jalaiah finally getting proper credit for the dance. After that, Charli and Addison Rae met Jalaiah and filmed the Renegade dance for all of their TikToks.

In February, ET asked The Hype House about the controversy.

“I think the entire situation was kind of like a miscommunication in a way,” Addison Rae said. “We didn’t really know initially who made the dance because it is really hard to find the root of creators, especially on TikTok whenever there’s new trends and things popping up, but it was really cool to finally put a face to her name and meet her and do the dance with her.

“I think it was a lot of it had to do with like people not understanding that we truly didn’t know,” she continued. “We really didn’t know. It was never intentional and trying to take someone else’s dance and I had only done Renegade about three times on my page initially, so I really had no idea.”

Jalaiah has 2.8 million followers on TikTok. Charli has 102 million and Addison Rae has 71 million followers. When Charli hit 100 million followers, she celebrated by dueting Jalaiah with the Renegade dance. When Addison Rae hit 70 million, she also celebrated by posting a throwback video of her performing the Renegade dance and crediting Jalaiah in the caption.

50 Days of Addison Rae, Day 33: I Called Addison Rae

1-800-Addison

Welcome to 50 Days of Addison Rae, a Just PMSing original blog series where we explore all things Addison Rae, TikToker, dancer, YouTuber, Kardashian friend.

Sometime last week (I think?), Faze Jarvis accidentally leaked Addison Rae’s phone number.

I found the phone number and called.

It went straight to voicemail.

This is the second time since becoming famous that Addison Rae has had to change her phone number.

I will report back if she calls me back.

50 Days of Addison Rae, Day 32: My Two Worlds Collide

She knows Derek Hough.

Welcome to 50 Days of Addison Rae, a Just PMSing original blog series where we explore all things Addison Rae, TikToker, dancer, YouTuber, Kardashian friend.

Addison Rae appeared on the Ellen Show earlier this fall. Ellen wasn’t there; instead Twitch hosted for her. For some reason Derek Hough was also there and at the end of the show, Twitch, Twitch’s wife, Addison Rae, and Derek Hough all danced together.

It was as awful as it sounds.

Now we just need to get Addison Rae and Julianne Hough in the same room.

50 Days of Addison Rae, Day 31: The Reddit Page Dedicated To Her

It’s gross.

Welcome to 50 Days of Addison Rae, a Just PMSing original blog series where we explore all things Addison Rae, TikToker, dancer, YouTuber, Kardashian friend.

There’s a Reddit page (thread? subreddit?) dedicated to everyone and everything. Addison Rae of course has one. And of course it’s mainly horny men posting close up shots of her ass.

Don’t click on it.
