Here is where I attempt to blog about Julianne Hough for 100 days straight. This was inspired by Allie Jones’ 500 blogs on Kristin Cavallari, a much funnier read.
On the Aug. 5, 2019 episode of How Men Think, a podcast hosted by Brooks Laich and Gavin DeGraw, Brooks Laich, Julianne Hough’s then-husband, revealed that she enjoys it when he sucks on her toes.
Not everything needs to be discussed on a podcast, smiley face.
“My wife really enjoys it when I suck on her toes. True story,” Brooks said on the podcast. “Hey, we play around. Why not?”
I can’t believe I’m blogging about this, smiley face.
This one comment made news everywhere. Then 10 days later, on Aug. 15, Julianne and Brooks walked the red carpet for the Industry Dance Awards. A reporter for Access asked Julianne about the comment.
“That was taken out of context,” Julianne said to the reporter. “It wasn’t taken out of context. He actually misphrased that. He likes it. I don’t like it.”
“Yeah, what’s the real situation,” the reporter asked.
“Well, he’s right there if you want to talk to him,” Julianne said, laughing.
“Do you allow it,” the reporter asked.
“Hey, it’s a give and take and compromise, making everybody feel good with what they like, no, I’m just kidding,” Julianne said.
Aug. 16, 2019 was the last time Julianne posted a photo with Brooks on her Instagram — one day after she cleared up his toes comment.
The two announced their divorce on May 29, 2020.
