It’s the end of an era. I began this project 50 days ago as a writing and research exercise and I ended with a new Twitter follower: the woman herself, Addison Rae.
I have learned a lot about Addison Rae through my 50 days of research. I learned she doesn’t like the paparazzi, even though she is always kind to them. I learned she did not bail her boyfriend out of jail, like we all thought. I learned she can sing. I learned she loves to tweet for dramatic effect. I learned she has more money than she knows what to do with. I learned a lot.
But going forward, I have a lot I want to see her accomplish. Even though we haven’t seen her acting debut in He’s All That, I’m confident I already want more. I want her to continue to post TikToks, but I want her to slowly move away from the influencer game and try her hand at more mainstream entertainment, like movies and TV. I want her to go on tour by herself, as like a dancing tour. Hire backup dancers and create an hour-long show of just dancing. I want her to try singing. I want her to drop the podcast with her mom and focus more on YouTube. I want her to date an NBA player. I want her makeup line to release some dark mauve-colored blush, so I can put blush across my nose like she does.
I want Addison Rae on every billboard in America. I think she is the most gorgeous woman in the world and I want to see her face every time I leave the house. I want her to reach 100 million followers on TikTok. I think she will.
