50 Days of Taylor Swift, Day 1: Guess How Old She Is!

The blog (this blog, the one you’re reading) that brought you 100 Days of Julianne Hough and 50 Days of Addison Rae now brings you 50 Days of Taylor Swift. 1, 2, 3… Let’s go, bitch! Photo by Dwight McCann

In 2006, I came home from being out with friends (I was very popular) and my dad immediately told me to sit down and watch a music video. He then played “Tim McGraw” by Taylor Swift and made me guess how old she was.

“I don’t know… 25,” I said.

“Wrong! She’s 16,” my dad said back to me (I was also 16).

My dad was amazed that she was so young and so talented. I don’t think my life has been the same since (ha-ha, dramatic, but kind of true!). My dad and I immediately became Swifties and a few months later, we saw her play in Dallas when she was on tour with Brad Paisley.

So if my math is correct, I’ve been a Swiftie now for 16 years (HALF MY LIFE???) and I’ve consumed every piece of Taylor Swift content known to man (minus her movies because not even Taylor Swift can make me go see bad movies). I’m constantly having intrusive thoughts of random things she’s said and done over the years. Remember when she said she’s never seen The Price is Right??? That’s mainly what 50 Days of Taylor Swift is going to be. Deep nuggets of information I spend a lot of time thinking about.

If there’s anything you want me to write about, please tweet me, DM me, text me, call me, email me, whatever. I’m here for you!
